That belief is at the core of the CG Cloud User Group, initiated by Peak & Peak together with Salesforce. With the kick-off of this group, we created a forum designed specifically for CG Cloud users who want practical, experience-based discussion on transformation, delivery, and the application of new technologies.
A return to what works
With the first session, we deliberately returned to what made the early CG Cloud days successful: honest conversations, hands-on insights, and dialogue at eye level. The focus was not on theory, but on the realities CG organizations face every day.
At Peak & Peak, we work closely with Consumer Goods companies across markets and categories. We consistently see the same core questions emerge: how to scale globally while respecting local needs, how to deliver projects reliably, and how to turn innovation into tangible business value. The CG Cloud User Group was created to address these topics in a focused, peer-driven setting.

Topics and insights from the kick-off
A key part of the session was the outlook on the CG Cloud roadmap, shared by Tim Chlup (Salesforce). This provided participants with clarity on upcoming developments and a practical perspective on how these capabilities can support current and future programs.
Our first speakers, Lars Hamann and Moritz Patzke, initiated a strong and open exchange on topics that matter most to CG Cloud users today:
Global versus local rollout approaches
Success factors in CG Cloud projects and common points of friction
Practical AI use cases in Consumer Goods and how to get started
One clear takeaway emerged. While organizations may differ in size, structure, or geography, the challenges they face are remarkably similar. That shared reality is what makes structured, experience-based exchange so valuable.
Strong engagement and what comes next
The response to the kick-off was very encouraging. Participants actively contributed, shared openly, and expressed clear interest in continuing the format, with several planning to involve additional colleagues in future sessions. This momentum confirms the need for a community focused on learning from practice rather than theory.
We are pleased to announce that the next CG Cloud User Group will take place on 23 April 2026. Companies interested in participating, contributing as speakers, or hosting a future session are warmly invited to get in touch.

Thank you
Most importantly, thank you to all attendees for the openness, the quality of the discussion, and the willingness to share real lessons learned. Your contributions are what make this format valuable.
We would like to thank Salesforce for hosting and for the close collaboration, in particular Franziska Johne, Martin Jeske, and Tim Chlup. A special thank you also goes to our Peak & Peak team for their commitment, openness, and willingness to share lessons learned.
The CG Cloud User Group is intended to grow into a trusted forum for CG Cloud users who value clarity, experience, and constructive exchange. We look forward to continuing this conversation and to welcoming new participants at the next session.
